Facts about FETE

Our Team

At FETE, our team is dedicated to transforming education and empowering the next generation. Our diverse group of educators, mentors, and innovators brings a wealth of experience and passion to our mission. Meet some of our key team member:

Lori Michelle ChambersFounder and Visionary: Lori’s journey began as a Black child with little expectations or special guidance toward her success. She struggled to fit in and express herself, suffering from anxiety and depression at a young age. These challenges carried into her adulthood, leaving a feeling of inadequacy within many that she has worked to overcome.

It has become her life’s work to address these nuanced and pervasive feelings within Black students.

Lori graduated with a BA in English from Clark Atlanta University and holds a certification as a Certified Peer Specialist. She is also a published author of “Remember and Transform,” available in print and ebook through Amazon and Kindle. Her detailed account of attending Philadelphia’s public schools highlights the flaws in the current education system.

It serves as a case study in contemporary pedagogy of the oppressed, family structure, and strategies to overcome systemic obstacles. Lori’s work aims to uplift Black people and oppressed individuals worldwide, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment.
